RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMES

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMES

A high quality, high value, high impact residential Bootcamp to demystify Public Policy

Our flagship residential programme, Global Policy School, was organised between 2012 and 2019. The programme trained 81 participants from over 40 countries on the nuances of policymaking with case studies and real time research experience. GPS was one of the first residential bootcamps in public policy that was conducted by an Indian think tank comprising of participants from various continents and countries. To train a group of 20 young change-makers, CPPR has created its residential programme as an activity-based learning capsule. Taking a page from GPS’s success, CPPR continues to plan such residential bootcamp programmes. The residential programmes aims to:

  • Conducted for the duration of one-week to one month.
  • Discuss topics like social policies, political economy, research methodology, data analysis, research techniques and tools, statistics, visualisations skills etc.
  • Hold inter-disciplinary sessions of the programme by engaging senior bureaucrats, eminent policymakers and expert researchers to provide hands-on training to the participants.
  • Train the participants to think critically about social, economic, cultural and political challenges.
  • Leverage simple, jargon-free content and using illustrations and data, the programmes provide a holistic understanding of public policy.
