Monitoring and Evaluation in Public Policy

Course Description:

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that public policies and programs are effective, accountable, and adaptive, especially in a diverse and dynamic country like India. As public policy impacts millions of lives, it is crucial to assess their performance through well-structured M&E processes. However, in India, there remains a significant gap in the understanding and application of M&E frameworks within public policy implementation, leading to inefficiencies and unmet policy goals.

The Online Certificate Course on Monitoring and Evaluation in Public Policy aims to address that gap by equipping students, researchers, and professionals with essential skills to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and programs. By providing a structured approach to M&E, this course will enable participants to analyze, assess, and improve policy outcomes, ultimately contributing to more informed decision-making in the public sector. Through case studies and hands-on training, this course seeks to fill the gap in practical M&E knowledge, which is often under-represented in academic and professional spaces in India.
